2023 WRAP-UP

It’s time to say goodbye 2023 – You’ve been a good one!

2023 HAS BEEN A BIG YEAR AT :// WEB PASTE

As far as we can tell – it’s been a big year for businesses across the motu. Everyone we speak to seems ready for a well-earned break.

It’s only our second summer break for the team here and it’s hard to believe that we only started out in March 2022. Building trust within our client base and the wider business community has been our main goal over this time and we are incredibly grateful to the businesses, and the people behind them that have supported us on this road.

We are going to take this opportunity to summarise some of our accomplishments this year, what we’ve been doing within the local community and what 2024 has in store for us and our amazing clients!

This year we have had the privilege of working more within the community on some amazing initiatives. There are a couple of Whāingaroa local not-for-profits we love to support and we would like to say a massive thank you to them for letting us be part of the mahi being done.

A special thanks must be given to Xtreme Zero Waste and Raglan Arts Weekend for being the kindling to the incredible community spirit that is shared in Raglan.

Web Paste has donated more than fifty hours over 2023 and provides a not-for-profit discount to all organisations that fall within this category. We would love to double this in 2024. As a company we are committed to helping not-for-profit organisations across Aotearoa achieve their visions as much as we can – if you would like to talk to us about how we can help your organisation please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

2024 has got a lot in store for us at Web Paste. We will be moving into the office above Everyone’s Store on Wainui Road on January 15th. We are looking forward to this, it has been a long time coming and it will amazing to have a nice, open and light space to meet with clients. We will be getting some sign-writing done over the Christmas break, so you see us. Please pop in and say hi any time you are in town and keep an eye out for our office warming invitation!

We have been working on a website for an exciting new initiative that will do a huge amount of good within the Whāingaroa community and are especially looking forward to the launch of this in 2024. We will be continuing to work on and manage our client’s marketing campaigns over the silly season. If you need anything done urgently on your marketing campaigns while the rush is on please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We would also like to give a special thanks to our friends at Edison Darby – who are doing amazing things within the wider Waikato region. We have no doubt 2024 is going to be a big one for the team.

Business Waste Collections Hub

This is a hard project to sum up as it is multi-faceted and quite large, but in short: Xtreme Zero Waste has just launched its new Business Waste Collections Hub. This is an online registration and booking system that is tied into a route planner/waste collection app and client management system. The booking system allows businesses to book exactly what waste they need to be picked up saving them money and allowing Xtreme Zero Waste to be more efficient. Businesses can manage all their bookings inside an online portal while the backend is just about completely automated meaning there is much less administration work for the team at Xtreme.

Wheel & Tyre Warehouse

Wheel and Tyre Warehouse is an eCommerce website that is self-managing – products, stock levels and prices are all imported directly from their suppliers and the orders are sent to a physical store for processing. The website includes two sections – one for wheels and one for tyres, inside which the user can filter products by product specifications or by vehicle type. The search by vehicle type functionality is built using API requests to a third-party database which is always maintained to include the latest models.

Wild Coast Collective

Wild Coast Collective is a sustainable, pilates and yoga mat company. We worked with the Wild Coast creating a new brand image, doing a redesign of their eCommerce website and optimising their website. This project was a collaboration in its finest form. As Wild Coast identified its brand values we worked on putting an aesthetic and iconography to this. As they defined their brand voice – with the amazing team at Dirty Copy – we did keyword research, search engine optimisation, and meta to tie into this. We then rolled this out across their website while doing a redesign. We are looking forward to seeing the incredible amount of mahi put in by this team come to fruition in 2024.
